how it came to be:
My artistic journey soared as I explored the connection between emotion and form. Each piece reflects my vision and the hours spent mastering mixed media, color theory, and composition. I experimented with texture and layering to enhance depth in my prints. This body of work showcases the evolution of my artistry and passion for thought-provoking art.

Hello lovely,
My name is Teddee Saavedra. I am an artist currently based in Havelock, North Carolina. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated in 2025 from The University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio. My work typically explores the idea of duality. The positive and the negative. I try to create works that can be relatable to any state of mind, period of life, or social status. The result is a piece that is meaningful and can start a conversation.
Since graduating university, I’ve been trying to find my style. This consists of making works of art that I think well… just look cool. I’m falling back in love with my original mediums of drawing and painting as my main concentration in school was printmaking. More specifically lithography. Though that is one of my true passions, its time for me to go back to my roots of artistry to find my through line of works.
